new york city temperatures have crept up into the 50s, occasional 60s and very flirty low 70s. for like an hour or two. this must be what some humans call “hoodie weather”.
well, anyway, i took the cheeto out. i shoved a set of tire levers , spare tube, wrenches and bicycle pump in my backpack. a protruding pump is a conversation starter and i am pump daddy, after all. i saw a lot of spandex-clad bike riders riding very clean bicycles, which made me wonder what they did this past winter.
it was a miserable winter, below freezing since 8 december, and i was only in the city for a couple weeks.
sometimes the hudson river affords the wanderlust majestic views.
